The Role
We are seeking a highly strategic and execution-driven Vice President of Channel Sales to build and scale StrikeReady’s partner ecosystem from the ground up. In this critical leadership role, you will design the channel strategy, launch our partner program, and recruit top-tier Managed Security Service Providers (MSSPs), Value-Added Resellers (VARs), System Integrators (SIs), and Technology Alliance Partners.
Because StrikeReady is completely vendor-agnostic, our platform is a massive value-add for MSSPs and partners managing diverse tech stacks. Your mission is to leverage this unique advantage to rapidly expand our market footprint, outmaneuver fragmented, agentic AI competitors, and drive exponential channel-sourced and channel-influenced revenue.
Key Responsibilities
- Channel Strategy & Program Design: Develop and launch a comprehensive, world-class channel partner program, establishing tiers, margins, deal registration processes, and incentive structures that drive aggressive growth.
- Partner Recruitment & Onboarding: Identify, target, and recruit high-value cybersecurity partners, with a heavy emphasis on MSSPs and strategic VARs who can benefit from an AI-driven, unified SOC command center.
- Channel Enablement: Build training and enablement programs that equip partners to independently sell, demo, and deploy StrikeReady.
- Competitive Positioning: Train partners on how to effectively differentiate StrikeReady’s holistic, tool-agnostic approach against siloed, agentic AI competitors such as Dropzone AI, 7AI, Prophet AI, and Blink Ops.
- Pipeline & Revenue Generation: Own the channel revenue target. Drive partner-sourced pipeline, co-sell with the direct sales team, and manage channel forecasting and reporting.
- Strategic Alliances: Work closely with Product and Business Development teams to expand our Technology Alliance ecosystem, ensuring StrikeReady remains the most deeply integrated AI platform in the market.
- Executive Leadership: Serve as a key member of the GTM leadership team, representing the voice of the partner internally to influence product roadmaps, marketing campaigns, and direct sales alignment.
Qualifications
- Experience: 10+ years of channel sales and partner management experience within the B2B enterprise software sector, with at least 5+ years in a senior leadership role (VP or Senior Director) in cybersecurity, SIEM, SOAR, or modern SOC technologies.
- Startup DNA: Proven track record of building channel programs from scratch at early-to-growth stage startups (Series A through C). You know how to build the playbook, not just execute an existing one.
- Deep Network: An active, highly established Rolodex of executive relationships at leading MSSPs, national VARs (e.g., Optiv, Guidepoint, WWT), and regional cybersecurity specialized partners.
- Market Expertise: Deep understanding of the modern SOC ecosystem, threat intelligence, and the rapidly shifting dynamics of AI in cybersecurity.
- Collaborative Leadership: Demonstrated ability to manage channel conflict, build alignment with direct sales teams (Account Executives and Regional Directors), and foster a "channel-first" culture internally.
- Communication: Exceptional executive presence and presentation skills, capable of commanding a room and inspiring partner sales teams to champion StrikeReady.
